Metro Hardwoods FSC Particleboard is a specified green particleboard panel. It is EPP certified to be 100% recycled wood fiber particleboard and has NAUF (No Urea Formaldehyde) added during the manufacturing process. This helps qualify for LEED EQ 4.4 potential points. The panel is a multi-layered substrate produced using a blend of wood fibers and particles that deliver the most desirable properties of each species. It is sanded to an extremely smooth, tight, and grainless surface on both sides. The core has a controlled distribution pattern of particles that creates the perfect dimensionally stable panel. Metro Hardwoods FSC Certified Particleboard is engineered to the highest quality standards providing customers with the most desired properties.

Third party testing verifies Metro Hardwoods FSC particleboard’s formaldehyde emissions are
 (0.00 - 0.01 ppm), no greater than levels occurring in outdoor ambient air conditions. Metro Hardwoods FSC particleboard emissions compare favorably with agri-fiber products and wood based composite panels using MDI resin. Metro Hardwoods FSC particleboard is available as raw board or can be specified as a low emitting core for hardwood plywood panels and melamine panels.
